The 2025/26 CDT Topic Days programme concluded on a high note with an in‑person training session on Reproducible Data Science, delivered by the School of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield.
As part of the final event, students also toured the Laboratory for Verification & Validation (LVV) at the university’s Integrated Civil and Infrastructure Research Centre (ICAIR). The visit featured a series of presentations showcasing cutting‑edge research and real‑world applications, offering students a valuable and inspiring learning experience.
The programme organisers extended their thanks to Kirill Horoshenkov, Jon Barker, Aisling Cooling, and the teams at ICAIR and Research Software Engineering (RSE) for coordinating an engaging and insightful set of activities for CDT students.
