Our PhD projects sit at the forefront of research in sustainable sound futures, bringing together expertise from acoustics, audio engineering, data science, design, and the social sciences. Across the Sustainable Sound Futures CDT, doctoral researchers are tackling a diverse range of challenges — from understanding and improving sound environments, to developing innovative audio technologies, to exploring the role of sound in health, society, and sustainability.
