I am from South Korea. I like to watch football and also play futsal. My favourite band is Black Skirts.

What is your PhD is about?
My PhD project is about development of AI system inspired by auditory system.

Why is it important to do this research?
It can lead us to reduction of parameter and also enhancement of explain-ability.

What drew you to studying this PhD?
I was both interested in auditory system, acoustic signal processing and AI, since my Master’s. I want to deepen my knowledge.

What were you doing before joining the CDT?
I was working in research institute for a year, conducting EEG-related research.

What do you do on a typical PhD day so far?
Reading papers. Organising whole PhD plan and direction.
