The November CDT Journal club were joined by Professor Charlotte Clark from the City of St George’s, University of London who explored the impacts and harms of environment noise and shared insights from her research and experience in the field.
The journal club discussion centred around her paper Evidence for Environmental Noise Effects on Health for the United Kingdom Policy Context with Professor Clark stepping through the structured research methodology of systematic review and its use as a research methodology for a specific research topic.
Chaired by Professor Antonio Torija Martinez, students explored how meta-analysis can benefit some PhD projects.
